The San Antonio Treasury Management Association, Inc., ("SATMA") was formed in 1983 as a non-profit professional association to provide local forum for the exchange of treasury management ideas, concepts and techniques.

SATMA draws it's members from corporations, financial institutions, academia and governmental entities. Our meetings provide an excellent opportunity to meet with other treasury professionals from both your own and other industries. SATMA also serves as a clearinghouse for the dissemination of information regarding employment opportunities.
At it's regular monthly meetings, SATMA offers its members and guests the opportunity to hear relevant treasury management topics presented by recognized professionals. Programs include issues on cash management systems, investments, insurance, economic issues, cash forecasting banking relations and the regulatory environment.
SATMA recognizes that earning the designation of Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) is a valuable professional achievement. Members are urged to prepare for and take the certification exam sponsored by the Association for Financials (AFP). As a result, SATMA programs are designed to prepare you for the test, as well as to receive CTP/CCM certification renewal credits. Additionally, SATMA is a registered sponsor with the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy and is eligible to offer CPE credits.
